I have eaten at the Bog many many times. Every thing on the menu is definitely worth a try. I have not had anything I do NOT like there.

I own a business locally, and have often times had business meetings here. As well as treating my employees. I also take my family of 5 there often. My children are 15,11 &3. We all enjoy it here.

Friday night fish fry is one of the best I have had. EVER.

I read some of the earlier comments, as for not having food, that has never happened to me. Also, waiting 45 minutes (in another comment) has never happened to me either. One other thing I felt was an insult to the owner was the comments about the menu.  The menu may look at first sight small, but he lets you customize every thing on the menu. No matter how picky my kids like it. Anyway, how many choices does a person really need anyway? I felt the menu was adequate for any average family. I personally would rather have a small all super yummy menu than a long menu with average food.

I would definitely recommend this place. I would never take my kids to Okos. (Another local place.) As far as ground round compared to here goes, The Bog wins votes in our family every time!

The Bog Restaurant is truly the Bomb.com. Our waitress was checking up on us and very attentive to our needs. The food was fantastic, well cooked and very appealing. The Bog truly is a hidden treasure in Wisconsin.

The owner is a great and personal person. Came to our table and asked several times how was your food? He also explained to us how every meal they give a percentage back the community. Doesn’t get much better than here, always amazing food!

A group of us stopped here on our way back to Chicago. I had a single cheeseburger and waffle fries and they were amazing! Staff was very friendly and prompt.

We arrived just after 1pm and most of the tables were full of emptied plates and cups because they have a daily special where people over 60 yrs old eat for FREE. I think it’s pretty awesome that they do this every week day.

This place is definitely worth stopping at for a bite to eat!
