Amazing keto fish fry! Fried fish, cole slaw, baked cauliflower, and keto bread. Everything fresh from scratch. Excellent!

Just had dinner. Great service, excellent menu full of carnivore, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Neat! The cocktails were excellent and the lamb shepherds pie I had were excellent. The rest of the party of 5 all said how happy they were with their dishes. We didn’t have dessert so I can’t comment on that, but I will be eating here again for sure. The only “watch out” is that it’s a pretty small place so I’m betting if it is a Friday or Saturday night it will be packed.
Color me impressed – this is definitely one of the best places to grab good food in Racine!

This place is great! Farm to table with a lot of keto, vegetarian, and vegan options. I love all the coffee drink options. I went with 5 other people and we all loved our food! I had the blue bear benedict and it was perfection!! I would say it was one of my favorite meals! I’d absolutely recommend going here!! I’ll be back next time I’m in Racine.

Wait a second…Blue Bear!? What, Where? How the heck has this remained a secret!!! I am so torn! If I tell you all exactly how INCREDIBLE the BB is I may not be able to ever get in again. On the other hand, if I do not, it may go the way of the dinosaur and I won’t be able to get to eat here… Catch 22! Great things need to be shared!
The Blue Bear Is Off The Charts INCREDIBLE! The food is cooked and paired with incredible care and intelligence. The short ribs and ribs are second to none. The various Benedict plates are mind blowing, to include one with delicately dredged and deep fried poached eggs- OMG perfect on the inside and crunchy on the outside – WHAT?! Deep fried poach eggs? Yep… Delicate, runny, and crunchy! Their biscuits could probably break a window they are so massive and substantial, but at the same time they are mixed perfectly to come apart in large buttery layers but never crumble. They take butter and jam like a butter filled sponge! Dinner here… is also head spinning. The Poutine will nearly induce the big O… Too Much?! I think not…Its Poutine that will make you head spin and see stars! The gravy on poutine is so rich and stocky its tastes like you are eating meat.
Dinners have been incredible. Butter Squash Risotto, Crispy fried Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta (not bacon folks), Ribs, Rueben (had it protein style, no bread which the accommodated without batting an eye), Chopped Salad which to me is more Cobb like IMHO – All KILLER!!!!
Even though there can often be a worth while wait, I have always been able to enter and eat at the bar with no delay. Gina, behind the bar…A total pleasure! Pro bartender, enjoys making her patron’s experience wonderful and she is fun to chat with too!
Hope you all enjoy the BB as much as I do, heck…I know you will!

Blue Bear was recommended by a local for breakfast as we passing through on a Sunday am. Loved that they had a ‘waitlist’ available on Yelp which had ya 10th in line for a table. When we checked in we had to wait about 25 minutes which we spent walking the neighborhood. Once inside we were delighted by the quaint and delightful ambiance of this small, charming place. Our server, Tessa, was a sweet, cheerful college student from Carthage. My husband ordered the Crabcake PoBoy which he claims was delicious while I settled on the Blue Bear Benedict which was heaven on earth
If ever in the area, be sure to stop by. Nothing negative to say!
